Delivery

We have additional procedures in place to ensure our customers are protected from on-line fraud. You may therefore be contacted before your delivery date so that these checks can be carried out. We may place orders temporarily on hold if we are not able to reach you so please ensure suitable telephone number(s) are provided.

All prices and delivery dates quoted are subject to stock availability.

In our aim to offer a fantastic shopping experience our website allows you to choose a convenient delivery date. In most cases our couriers will then send a text message on the morning of delivery with a time slot. Please be advised that although these times are usually very accurate they are not guaranteed.

It is your responsibility to check your order at the point of delivery for shortages or obvious damage and to make note of this on the carriers consignment papework when you sign for them. If you are unhappy to accept the goods for any reason please refuse the delivery and contact us on 03712 313113 as soon as possible. Any shortage or damage must be reported within 48hrs of taking delivery. If this is not done we are unable to take the matter up with the delivery company. If the delivery is not able to take place on the agreed date as a result of no one being available at the delivery address a second delivery charge will be applied. If installation is selected for any domestic appliances this covers connection to adjacent and available services and will not include any hard wiring.

If you have requested that the old product is to be removed for scrap, this must be disconnected in advance of the delivery time. Old appliances must also be disconnected in advance if you have requested installation of your new product. If the old appliance is not disconnected we may not be able to complete these services and you may still be charged for them in some instances. Costs will depend on your location and the product(s) ordered. If you think there may be a problem with connecting or disconnecting any appliances, either before or after delivery, please contact us at the earliest opportunity to avoid any inconvenience and costs. If installation is selected for any domestic appliances this covers connection to adjacent services reachable with the the supplied leads/pipes and will not include any hard wiring.

 

Returns

If you wish to cancel your order for a full refund you have the right to do so, providing you notify us in writing of your intention within 14 working days of the day after delivery. Please notify us by Email: sales@hughestv.co.uk

Any goods supplied must then be returned at your own expense, within 14 days of your notice to cancel to us at:

We are able to arrange an insured collection if requested. *Please note - costs vary according to the size and weight of the item*. An indication of costs are listed below, however please contact us for exact charges;

Providing the goods are returned complete with all accessories (including any free gifts supplied) you will receive a full refund within 30 days of your notice to cancel. We are unable to accept back unwanted gifts or non-faulty items if more than 14 days after the delivery date have passed. If your item is faulty please see the 'Service' section of our website.

We are unable to accept back blank video tapes, blank DVD discs and blank mini discs for a refund unless they are faulty or were supplied as part of the main product purchase.

If items are returned missing original factory packed accessories you will be charged for their replacement. The following prices are for guidance only, actual prices vary between manufacturers.
